Key Responsibilities Support teaching and learning within primary classrooms. Provide one-to-one and small group support where required. Support pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development. Use your understanding of psychology and child development to support individual pupils. Build positive and trusting relationships with children. Encourage pupils to engage positively with learning and classroom activities. Support pupils who may have additional, behavioural, or emotional needs. Work closely with teachers and wider school staff to provide consistent support. Psychology students currently studying at university are also encouraged to apply. Experience working with children or young people is beneficial but not essential. Ability to remain calm and confident when supporting children with additional needs. Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different school environments.
